Eugenijus Laurinaitis was born in 1951 in Klaipeda, Lithuania. He is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist and group therapist.

E. Laurinaitis also is a president of Lithuanian Psychotherapeutic Society, a head of Psychoterapy studies' center, as well as a secretary-general of European Union Association for Psychotherapy.
